Challenge
IL Makiage was rolling out a bold new brand campaign:“High Maintenance”—a celebration of unapologetic beauty and confidence. The challenge was threefold: introduce this provocative positioning to wider audiences, spotlight their revolutionary online Match Quiz that delivers shockingly accurate shade results, and grow their influencer network to amplify reach and credibility—all while building a social presence as powerful as the product promise.
Creative Solution
I developed and designed a full suite of creative assets for social platforms that embodied the “more is more” attitude—visually and tonally. Through provocative visuals, bold typography, unapologetic copy, and high-gloss design, we crafted content that spoke to a new generation of beauty buyers. We highlighted the Match Quiz journey in dynamic ways, educating while exciting. At the same time, we built aspirational, influencer-friendly content that helped expand IL Makiage’s ambassador network and social clout.
